Founders Club Agreement — Key Terms

Here's what you're actually signing up for. The full agreement is presented in-product before your account is flagged.

1. The Deal

You receive Enterprise-tier feature access on the SBCMSP platform (150 verified domains, all 10 compliance frameworks, unlimited team seats, SBCMSP Agent, M365/Entra ID assessment, AWS/Azure CSPM, AI Remediation Guidance, white-label client portal, PSA integrations, and any other feature offered to standard Enterprise customers) in exchange for an annual subscription fee of $5,748 USD (equivalent to $479/month), billed annually for a term of 3 years from your enrollment date.

2. Three-Year Price Lock

Your annual rate is locked at $479/month annual billing for three (3) consecutive billing years from your enrollment date. SBCMSP will not raise your price during this period, regardless of any general pricing change. This lock also applies to any domain add-on packs you purchase during the lock period — those add-ons retain their enrollment-date rate for the duration of the lock. You may not downgrade or cancel without forfeiting any prepaid year remaining, except as provided under §6 (30-day money-back window).

3. Year-4 Renewal Discount

At the end of your initial 3-year term, you may renew at either the then-current Enterprise annual rate or the then-current Business annual rate, your choice each renewal — and either renewal carries an additional 10% Founders Club discount applied on top of SBCMSP's standard annual discount (currently 20%). The 10% Founders discount follows you for the lifetime of your Founders Club membership, regardless of any future change to SBCMSP's list pricing or to the structure of its standard annual discount. The discount is a percentage off whichever rate SBCMSP charges new customers at the time of your renewal; it does not guarantee a fixed dollar amount.

4. Product Influence Commitments

  • Your feature-request votes carry 10× the weight of standard users' votes for the lifetime of your Founders Club membership.
  • SBCMSP commits to a quarterly Roadmap Council — one 60-minute group call per quarter for all Founders Club members, used to vote on the next quarter's roadmap priorities.
  • SBCMSP commits to delivering at least one (1) feature per calendar quarter that originated from a Founders Club member's request.
  • You receive 30-day exclusive beta access to every newly-built feature before general release.
  • You receive read-only access to the prioritized product backlog.

5. 30-Day Money-Back Window

Within 30 days of your enrollment date, you may request a full refund of any amount paid for any reason, with no termination fee. After 30 days, the 3-year lock applies.

6. Conditions of Membership

Founders Club membership is contingent on (a) maintaining a paid subscription in good standing, (b) accepting the SBCMSP Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, (c) being a US-based entity, and (d) accepting the AI Remediation Guidance Disclaimer if you use that feature. Termination for cause (non-payment, ToS violation) forfeits Founders Club benefits.

7. Number of Spots

Founders Club membership is limited to the first 50 enrolled customers globally. SBCMSP reserves the right to open additional cohorts at different terms in the future; no current member is entitled to the terms of any later cohort.

8. Recognition and Referrals

Members may opt into a public Founders listing on www.sbcmsp.com (with logo and member number).

Members earn referral credits for new paying customers they refer to SBCMSP:

  • $500 USD per referred customer who enrolls in a Business annual subscription and remains past their 30-day refund window.
  • $1,000 USD per referred customer who enrolls in an Enterprise annual subscription and remains past their 30-day refund window.

Credits are applied to the member's next invoice or paid out at the member's election. Referrals must be identified at the referred customer's signup (referral code, application notes, or written confirmation by both parties before the referred customer enrolls). Referred customers receive a 30-day extended free trial in lieu of the standard 15-day trial.

9. Audit Trail

Your application submission, your enrollment, and your acceptance of this agreement are recorded with the document version, timestamp, your user identifier, and originating IP address for compliance and regulatory purposes.

Common Questions

What happens after I submit my application?
Jesse personally reviews every application within 1 business day. If accepted, you'll get a follow-up email with payment instructions and the link to complete checkout at the Business-annual rate. Once payment clears, your account is flagged as a Founder, you receive your member number (1–50, assigned in order), and the 3-year lock begins.
Why is this limited to 50?
Two reasons. First, the priority-support and quarterly-Roadmap-Council commitments don't scale — 50 deeply-engaged customers is the cap on what one founder can serve personally. Second, scarcity is honest signaling: this isn't a "discount" tier, it's a closed program with real founder access.
What if I sign up and decide it's not for me?
You have 30 days from enrollment to request a full refund, no questions asked. After 30 days, the 3-year lock applies.
What happens after my 3-year term ends?
At renewal you pick either the then-current Enterprise annual or Business annual rate. Whichever you pick gets the standard 20% annual discount like every other customer, plus an additional 10% Founders Club discount on top of that. So if our pricing or annual-discount structure ever changes, your 10% Founders discount still applies to whatever new structure replaces it. The 10% follows you for as long as you remain a Founders Club member in good standing — it is not a fixed dollar amount.
Are existing customers eligible?
Yes. If you already have an SBCMSP account, apply using the email associated with that account. On approval, we'll upgrade your existing subscription and apply the Founders Club benefits going forward.
What does "10× feature-request weight" actually mean in practice?
Every authenticated user can submit and upvote feature requests in their Settings tab. Standard users' votes count as 1; Founders Club members' votes count as 10. The roadmap prioritization formula uses this weighted vote count as one of its inputs (alongside customer-revenue impact and engineering effort). Combined with the reserved-slot commitment, this means Founders Club requests get measurably more shipped product than standard requests.
Can I transfer my Founders Club spot if I sell my MSP?
The spot is tied to the legal entity that enrolled, not to an individual person. If your MSP is acquired and the legal entity continues, the spot transfers automatically. If the acquiring entity wants to absorb you and dissolve your entity, contact us and we'll work it out case-by-case.
